TO ALL ELECTORS OF COLESHILL

ANNUAL TOWN MEETING

 All electors of the Town of Coleshill are invited to attend at:-

 THE TOWN HALL, HIGH STREET, COLESHILL

 WEDNESDAY, 26 APRIL 2017

AT 7.00pm

Chaired by Councillor Tony Battle (Deputy Mayor)

 

The Town Meeting may, by law, discuss all town affairs and pass resolutions about them.  The following matters have so far been placed on the agenda:-

  1.  To receive and adopt the minutes of the last Annual Town Meeting held on 18th May 2016.
  2. “The Parish Church Development – at the heart of the Community” – Reverend Nick Parker.
  3. “Dispelling the Myths about the Coleshill Post” – Richard Harwood.
  4. “The work of the Town Council over the past year” – Council members.
  5. “A view from the terraces on the historic Coleshill Town FC campaign in the FA Vase” – Alan Beckett.
  6. Resolutions and proposals by electors.

Coleshill Town Guide

The Coleshill Town Guide is out of date and there only a few copies left.  The Council had attempted to have the same printer as last time to do a revised print but they were unable to find enough advertising to achieve this on a “free to Council” basis.  The Council has been trying to find an alternative guide printer.

A printer has been found and Local Authority Publishing Limited are selling print pages currently with a view to publishing a guide in the New Year (over 70% sold to date).

If the company’s sales representative (Laura) approaches you if you are in business in the town, should have an authority letter to show, written and personally signed by the Town Clerk.  If they refer to Local Authority Publishing Limited, they are officially authorised to sell space in the guide.

We hope that it will be in publication in the New Year and will be available in web page format as well.
